About the Role
The Senior Engineer will work with the Growth Marketing team to build and maintain web experiences on buffer.com. This includes developing landing pages, referral systems, interactive tools, and conversion flows that help drive user growth.
The position also involves integrating marketing tools, implementing analytics tracking systems, and improving SEO performance to ensure accurate data and optimized marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Lead growth engineering initiatives such as building localization frameworks and referral program systems.
Develop features and pages for the marketing website including interactive tools, landing pages, and user conversion flows.
Build systems that enable faster marketing experimentation such as A/B testing frameworks and programmatic SEO pages.
Implement tracking systems and analytics tools to support marketing performance measurement.
Optimize website performance, accessibility, and system reliability.
Maintain integrations with marketing technology platforms including analytics and tracking systems.
Participate in code reviews, collaborate with designers and marketers, and help improve engineering practices.
Requirements
Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
Experience working across both frontend and backend systems.
Ability to integrate third-party APIs and marketing technology tools.
Knowledge of SEO implementation, analytics tracking, and conversion optimization.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment.
Experience working in growth, marketing, or product engineering teams.
Typically 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
